You just never know when somebody’s gonna die. It could happen at any moment so you’ve got to really treat everybody that way. Just really let everybody know how you feel about them.
Sometimes life’s so much cooler when you just don’t know any better and all the painful lessons have not hammered your head open yet.
It seems like the chaos of this world is accelerating, but so is the beauty in the consciousness of more and more people.

Flea:
Well, I get up in the morning…. I smoke crack. Then after that, I have a steak… Then, I… I pummel myself about the head with a cactus. Then I get in the bathtub with a bowling ball, 3 sticks of dynamite, and about 3 lbs. of cream cheese. And uh, I really can’t… don’t feel comfortable talking about what happens in the bathtub at that time… But that’s my every morning routine.
Everything’s very perfectly balanced; for all the horrible things in the world there’s lots of good things.
I find that the best way to do things is to constantly move forward and to never doubt anything and keep moving forward, if you make a mistake say you made a mistake.
I think art is inherently nonviolent and it actually occupies your mind with creation rather than destruction.
